Under the deal, Disney will acquire ownership of Marvel including its more than 5,000 Marvel characters. Mr. Perlmutter will oversee the Marvel properties, and will work directly with Disney’s global lines of business to build and further integrate Marvel’s properties.
Somehow for me as a longtime Marvel fan it`s really hard to find the bright side to the deal besides maybe Disneyland will captialize by making Marvel based rides for there theme parks for the kids.
Im kinda scared a huge fail whale is about to be beach in any upcoming Marvel comic character movies in the near future and not to mention "G" rated comics. It`s the grit that I love about there comics and in a way to censer them down pretty much makes them lame.
It sucks to see Marvel sellout like this. You really got to feel for the low payed inker and other workers that busted there ass that will just probley walk away with nothing but a pink slip.
Disney is a huge company and Im really curious on if alot of the Marvel staff will be cut during the company merger.
